Job summary

KMRG, LLC is seeking a Help Desk Technician to provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for NAVFAC Marianas in Guam. This on-site role requires troubleshooting hardware and software, managing mobile devices, and maintaining asset records.

The position emphasizes coordination with the CIO3 IT Office and adherence to government security policies, with a 40-hour work week and benefits typical of federal contractors.

Qualifications

• Relevant IT helpdesk or desktop support experience.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, peripherals, and network issues.
• Experience with enterprise helpdesk or ticketing systems.
• Experience with mobile devices via Mobile Device Management.
• Experience tracking IT assets and inventory.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Strong written and oral communication; able to follow procedures.
• Must have DoD 8140 certification before onboarding.
• Maintain certification with at least 20 hours of CPD annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 helpdesk support by email, phone, Teams.
• Log, categorize, prioritize, and route support requests.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, OS, and network issues.
• Install and configure OS, software, and peripherals.
• Support mobile devices and telecom services via MDM.
• Maintain IT asset records and coordinate equipment deployments.
• Prepare SOPs, user guides, and communications on outages.
