Job summary

KMRG, LLC is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on Tier 1 and Tier 2 helpdesk support for NAVFAC Marianas in Guam, with responsibilities spanning hardware, software, mobile devices, and asset management. The role requires strong communication and DoD 8140 certification readiness.

The position is full-time, 100% on-site at NAVFAC Marianas facilities, with security requirements including a Tier 3 clearance. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain necessary credentials.

Qualifications

• Relevant IT helpdesk or desktop support experience.
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, peripherals, and network issues.
• Experience with enterprise helpdesk or ticketing systems.
• Experience supporting mobile devices via Mobile Device Management.
• Experience tracking IT assets and equipment lifecycle activities.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to follow procedures.
• Must possess at least one DoD 8140 certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, EC-Council CND, GSEC).
• Must complete ongoing CPD hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 helpdesk support via email, phone, Teams, and ticketing system.
• Log, categorize, prioritize, and route incoming support requests.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues; assist with password resets and software navigation.
• Install, configure, and upgrade OS, applications, and peripherals.
• Provide hands-on and remote technical assistance; escalate as needed and track to resolution.
• Configure and maintain enterprise mobile devices through MDM; support telecommunications needs.
• Coordinate IT equipment deployments and maintain asset inventories and records.
• Create and update SOPs, user guides, and other technical documentation.
