San José - Evergreen Community College District is seeking a Help Desk Technician for the ITSS department at the District Office. This temporary, on-site role begins November 1, 2026, with an hourly rate of $35.39.

The selected candidate will provide first-level technology support, troubleshoot issues by phone and remote access, and work 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., in a 12-month schedule.

Qualificações

• Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
• Two years of experience in help desk operations or related activities.

Responsabilidades

• Provide first level technology support for users including computers, printers, and software.
• Troubleshoot issues by phone, email, text, or remote access and document tickets.
• Log and track all support tickets and monitor for timely resolution.
• Prepare reports for management and maintain the tracking database.
• Assist with user access, passwords, and cloud services as needed.
