Job summary

Transdev is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to provide first-line support to internal users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues. You'll document solutions and contribute to IT knowledge base.

You'll work with the IT Specialist, assist with deployments, and participate in training sessions. The role requires on-call availability 24/7 including holidays and a commitment to service excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably in an IT help desk environment.
• On-call 24/7 availability including holidays.
• Ability to write system documentation for new and existing programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support and technical assistance to users via phone, email, or in person.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues promptly and effectively.
• Escalate unresolved issues to IT personnel or vendors for resolution.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and backups.
• Create and update technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
• Assist in deployment and rollout of new hardware and software solutions.
• Maintain and update local asset inventory.
• Conduct training sessions to educate users on IT best practices.
• Collaborate with IT team members to improve processes and procedures.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies to enhance skills.
