Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to provide first-level technical services for county departments and offices. The role emphasizes customer service with frequent user interaction to troubleshoot hardware and software in a general office setting, including travel to various departments.

You will operate on a help desk team, install and maintain software and hardware, and support printers and mobile devices. The position includes after-hours on-call shifts monthly.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED.
• CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certification a plus.
• Experience with help-desk software and office productivity tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer issues via in-person, phone, and ticketing system.
• Follow processes to provide timely solutions or escalate to Tier-2.
• Install, configure, and maintain county-wide software and tools.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware; troubleshoot hardware issues.
• Support county printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
• Maintain knowledge base of past issues and proven solutions.
• Participate in onboarding/offboarding and project work.
• Rotate on-call for after-hours, night, and weekend support.
