Job summary

Heat and Control in Hayward, CA seeks an IT Support Specialist to provide technical help by phone, email, and in person. You will diagnose hardware and software issues, implement imaging, and deploy new computer systems while onboarding new staff and configuring profiles.

Qualifications

• Experience with software installation and workstation support.
• Knowledge of Windows 11, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with computer imaging and user profile setup.
• Ability to travel up to 5% as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support by phone, email, and in person.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Troubleshoot remote users' VPN, email, and internet connectivity.
• Configure and deploy new computer systems, including user profiles.
• Administer mobile devices and provide user training.
• Onboard new employees, including workstation setup and account access verification.
• Provide printer support and install printer drivers.
