Job summary

Davis Bowen Friedel is seeking an IT Assistant to deliver Tier 1 support across desks, printers, and mobile devices. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity, maintain Windows 10/11, and help with onboarding by preparing workstations and user accounts.

You will document issues in the ticketing system, monitor system performance, assist with security patches, and promote cybersecurity best practices.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with 2+ years IT support experience.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and onboarding processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and devices across all departments.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 and standard business applications.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and user access issues; document actions and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Assist with onboarding by preparing workstations and setting up user accounts.
• Monitor systems for performance and escalate unresolved issues to IT Administrator as needed.
• Educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and safe technology usage.
