Job summary

Career Group is seeking an IT Help Desk Specialist to join our San Ramon team on a temp-to-perm basis. The role provides Tier 1 and 2 support, resolving a range of hardware, software, and access issues for employees.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of IT support experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to troubleshoot in a fast-paced environment, including onsite Mon–Thu and remote Fridays.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on IT support experience.
• Experience providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support.
• Strong Windows-based OS and desktop environments knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and user troubleshooting.
• Experience with OneDrive and SharePoint in an end-user environment.
• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat; Bluebeam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to employees in-person and remotely.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve Windows-based issues and access problems.
• Support Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).
• Troubleshoot OneDrive and SharePoint and manage file access and permissions.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding and equipment setup.
• Maintain ticketing system documentation and escalate when needed.
