Job summary

The Phoenix Zoo in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide level-one help desk support for staff and operations. This entry-level role will handle requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems for workstations, servers, printers, networks, IP phones, IP cameras, and vendor software.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues across Windows environments, installing and maintaining workstations and peripherals, and supporting documentation

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
Broad knowledge of software applications and PC hardware
Excellent customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

Provide level one help desk support via phone, email, and ticketing system
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across devices
Install and maintain workstations, phones, and peripherals
Provide training and support for staff on new technology
Support LAN/WAN policies and IT documentation
Be on-call for weekend support
