Job summary

Amentum invites applications for a Service Desk Administrator Internship at Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs. This 6-month, on-site internship focuses on frontline IT support, ticketing, and coordinating break/fix efforts within an MDA IRES contract environment.

Candidate should have Windows experience, 1+ year work history, and within 90 days obtain a DoD 8570 IAT II certification. Must be able to lift 35 lbs and hold an active DoW Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of general work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required or obtained within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide front line IT support via phone, email, and in-person.
• Create and track service requests to ensure timely resolution.
• Escalate complex issues to senior team members.
• Maintain and manage the queue of incident requests.
