Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania seeks an IT Generalist 1 to support the Infrastructure Team in Hollidaysburg, PA. You will resolve software, hardware and network issues across district and field offices while maintaining devices and documenting work.

You will also guide users through system rollouts and ensure asset tracking, with potential for partial telework up to two days per week. A strong IT background and relevant tools experience are required.

Qualifications

One year as an Information Technology Trainee or IT Technician (or equivalent).
Three years IT experience in applications, networking, desktop services or IT support/administration; or
One year IT experience plus an associate's degree in IT; or
Equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

Provide help for software, hardware, and network issues across offices and field locations.
Maintain and update workstations, mobile devices, printers, and specialized equipment.
Troubleshoot network connectivity and monitor/resolve issues with relevant tools.
Teach users about technology, assist with new system rollouts, and provide clear instructions.
Record work, update tickets, and track assets and inventory for technology equipment.
