Job summary

Diocese of Greensburg is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join the Pastoral Center in Greensburg, PA. The role supports over 3,700 end users and a fleet of 5,000+ devices, delivering training, guidance, and technical solutions across mobile and desktop systems in a hybrid cloud environment.

You will handle help desk tasks, desktop setup, imaging, and AV equipment during live events, while collaborating with network and IT security teams on projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field.
• Minimum of two years' support and configuration experience in a networked technical support role.
• Working knowledge of Windows 11, M365, iOS, macOS.
• Experience with Meraki, Cisco VPNs/firewalls, Verkada security systems.
• Experience with remote support tools and service desk software.
• Experience with AV equipment (microphones, speakers, projectors, displays).
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while delivering superb customer service.
• Be self-motivated and a team player.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide help desk support to 3,700 end users in a hybrid cloud environment.
• Set up, image, and maintain desktops and software; perform upgrades and maintenance.
• Assist network engineers and IT security staff in projects and support.
• Set up AV equipment for live events and troubleshoot quickly.
• Collaborate with all diocesan offices and stay updated on emerging ed tech and cloud computing.
