Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an entry-level Associate Field Network Cabling Installation Engineer to learn and support installation, maintenance, and management of cabling systems in data centers, offices, and remote sites. You will work under supervision and gain hands-on experience with copper and fiber networks.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, participate in training, and pursue certifications while contributing to network infrastructure projects in a dynamic, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required in relevant field.
• Preferred certifications such as BICSI RCDD, Cisco CCNA.

Responsibilities

• Learns how to support senior engineers in installation of network cabling systems (copper and fiber).
• Lears to pull, terminate, and test network cables to industry standards.
• Under guidance, inspects and maintains existing cabling infrastructure.
• Assists in troubleshooting basic network cabling issues.
• Learns to label and document network cables for traceability.
• Keeps records of cable layouts, diagrams and test results.
• Supports efforts to implement cable management solutions.
• Manages cable runs, trays, and racks to prevent damage.
• Follows safety protocols during cabling installations.
• Collaborates with engineers, cross-functional teams, and project managers.
• Gains exposure to project planning and execution.
• Engages in learning opportunities to enhance knowledge of network cabling and technologies.
• Participates in training sessions and certifications as required.
