Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers is seeking an Data Center IT Infrastructure Technician to support client requests in its data center spaces. You will address customer inquiries from ticket creation to resolution, troubleshoot servers, networking gear, cabling, and power connections.

The role covers rack/stack of equipment, PDU maintenance, documentation, and occasional desktop support or vendor coordination. 3-5 years data center experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of data center environment or help desk experience is required.
• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent experience required.
• CompTIA Network+ and BICSI Installer 1 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unbox, inventory, and install client hardware into racks.
• Manage assets including inventory audits, receiving and shipping.
• Coordinate technical tasks with internal groups and manage requests to resolution.
• Install cabling per standards, including labeling.
• Troubleshoot enterprise level hardware and perform component replacements.
• Support desktop and incident calls, and participate in call bridges.
