Job summary

The Child and Family Guidance Center in Bridgeport, CT is seeking a full‑time Director of Information Technology. This hands‑on leadership role oversees IT, Data Management and Telecommunications to support the organization’s mission and daily operations.

Responsibilities include budgeting, project planning, system upgrades, security governance, disaster recovery, and ensuring HIPAA compliance. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.

Qualifications

• Strong background in network management and Microsoft 365 Office administration.
• Significant IT management experience relevant to the essential job functions; department level management preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science or related discipline; substitutions allowed for degree.
• Proven experience in IT, MIS, Data Management, Security, and Telecommunications infrastructure planning, development and implementation.
• Telecommunications and security knowledge preferred.
• Strong understanding of project management principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the Information and Technology Department, including system hardware, software, data integrity and management, help desk, security, and telecommunications.
• Develop and manage the Technology Department budget and cost analyses for IT, Data Management and Telecommunications.
