Job summary

Child Mind Institute in Midtown, NY is hiring a Director of IT Operations to lead the IT team and ensure secure, reliable technology services that support clinicians, researchers, educators, and staff. You will oversee networks, cloud services, data centers, and end-user computing, partnering with leaders to align technology with mission goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer information systems or equivalent.
• 7+ years in a senior IT leadership role.
• Experience with IT infrastructure strategic planning, development, and project management.
• Experience with network infrastructure technologies and cybersecurity controls.
• Experience in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments, Hybrid Windows and MacOS endpoints, Cisco networking, Windows and Linux servers, AWS and VMware.
• Experience managing subject matter experts and cross-functional IT professionals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the availability, performance, security, and reliability of CMI's technology infrastructure, including networks, collaboration platforms, end-user computing, cloud services, data center resources, and supported applications.
• Maintain a secure and compliant technology environment by implementing access controls, identity governance, security monitoring, risk management, data protection, and change management.
• Translate organizational priorities into operational technology capabilities by partnering with IT and business leaders to develop roadmaps supporting clinical, research, educational, and administrative objectives.
• Establish and maintain operational disciplines enabling resilient service delivery including business continuity, disaster recovery, incident response, and change management.
• Serve as the steward of IT Operations investments, ensuring resources, vendors, contracts, infrastructure, and services deliver measurable value.
• Define, monitor, and improve operational performance through metrics and ITIL-based service management practices to drive quality and efficiency.
• Build and lead a high-performing IT Operations organization with clear expectations and accountability.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
