Job summary

The University of Georgia is seeking an ASST SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR to support computing devices across the Office of Research units. Responsibilities include desktop support (Windows/Mac), imaging, printer management, inventory, Intune/Addigy-based management, AD/Entra user management, and network/IP tasks.

The role requires completion of certain certifications within two years and strong customer service, documentation, and teamwork.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Must complete specified certifications within first two years of hire with department support.
Provide high-quality customer support and maintain clear documentation of work and resolutions.

Responsibilities

New device imaging – develop, manage and update an automated imaging process.
New device installs and troubleshooting.
Application setup and troubleshooting.
Device tracking and maintenance.
Device network assignment and maintenance.
User/Group maintenance.
Communicate with team regarding issues and resolutions.
Assist end users in device and application usage as well as any other related issues.
Help maintain unit documentation regarding devices, protocols, and processes relevant to the unit.
