The University of Bridgeport is seeking a dynamic, customer service-oriented Desktop Support Specialist based on its Bridgeport, CT campus. Reporting to the Campus & User Technology Services Manager, this role supports faculty, staff, and students using PCs, mobile devices, and telephone systems, ensuring prompt and professional incident resolution following established protocols.
Knowledge, Ability, and Skills:
Work Environment and Physical Activities are typical for this role, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, sitting, and using hands for handling equipment. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception. Some travel and after-hours work may be necessary.
