Brown University Health is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide hardware, software, and LAN support ensuring a reliable information network for customers. Under supervision, you will help with hardware setups, software installations, and issue resolution for Windows environments, interfacing with users daily.

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree in IT and two years of experience configuring client computers, plus hands-on work with printers and IP-based phones.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree with course work in Information Technology.
• Two years’ experience configuring client computers and installing software.
• Experience with Windows client OS and office software.

Responsabilités

• Participates in implementing computer hardware, peripherals, and software.
• Supports system installations at client and enterprise levels.
• Troubleshoots OS, hardware, and software issues and documents recurring problems.
• Sets up and installs hardware, software, updates, peripherals, and components.
• Provides off-hours on-call coverage as required.
