Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking an IT support specialist to provide hardware, software, and LAN support for a wide range of devices across the Brown University Health network.

You will troubleshoot client OS and hardware issues, assist with installations, and work closely with staff to resolve technical problems while maintaining high customer satisfaction in a hospital-related environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree OR equivalent IT training/experience.
• Two years of experience configuring client computers and installing software.
• Experience with PCs, monitors, network systems, printers, and IP phones.

Responsibilities

• Implement computer hardware, peripherals, and software.
• Support complex system installations at OS and rollout level.
• Troubleshoot OS, hardware, software and connectivity issues per policy.
• Provide off-hours on-call coverage as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
