Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is seeking an IT Service Technician to diagnose, install, repair and maintain desktops and laptops, and provide essential support for network connectivity and user accounts.

You will collaborate with system and network admins, assist in upgrading hardware/software, manage tickets, and uphold security protocols in a fast-paced casino environment. This role requires a customer-focused mindset and flexibility to adapt to shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in computer hardware support and maintenance.
• A+ certification must be obtained within first 12 months of employment.
• Experience with Ghost Imaging, Iseries, and Blackberry devices is a plus.
• Knowledge of Windows XP/2003/Windows 7/2008 environments; installation and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and TCP/IP/DHCP/DNS.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and optimize desktops and laptops (hardware & software).
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and install/re-install cables.
• Provide basic network administration: user accounts and password management.
• Assist with hardware/software upgrades and patches rollout.
• Liaise with end users and staff on computer operation.
• Collaborate with System/Network admins for efficient desktop operation.
• Manage tickets to closure via ticketing system.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and perform admin tasks.
• Handle replacement spares via RMA for uptime optimization.
• Perform duties across sister properties as needed.
