Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. seeks a Field Service Technician - IT Cooling to service and maintain IT cooling systems at customer sites across the regional area.

This hands-on role includes start-up services, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of refrigeration and electro-mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in HVAC/electrical/electronics, EPA 608 certification, and a valid driver's license, with strong diagnostic and communication skills for

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HVAC, Electrical, Electronics or related field with 2–5 years troubleshooting HVAC/refrigeration systems.
• EPA Section 608 certification required.
• Able to read schematics, blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license for travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up services, preventative maintenance, and field modifications at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration/electro-mechanical systems and complete repairs or component replacements.
• Conduct refrigerant tasks: leak detection, reclamation, evacuation, charging of R410A systems.
• Diagnose HVAC electrical and control systems to restore performance.
• Provide technical support to internal teams, partners and end users.
• Inspect returned equipment to assess defects and readiness.
• Participate in rotating on-call emergency field support.
• Maintain detailed service visit records and expense reports.
• Collaborate on power equipment installations and related activities.
