Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. seeks a Field Service Technician – IT Cooling to perform on-site start-up, maintenance, and repairs of cooling systems and electro-mechanical equipment at customer locations.

The role requires 2–5 years in HVAC/refrigeration, EPA 608 certification, and a valid driver’s license. You will troubleshoot systems, document visits, and support power equipment installations across customer sites.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HVAC, Electrical or related field.
• EPA Section 608 certification is required.
• 2–5 years troubleshooting and repairing HVAC or refrigeration systems.
• Valid driver’s license for travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up, preventative and remedial maintenance on IT Cooling equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration and electro-mechanical systems.
• Leak detection, reclamation, evacuation and charging of R410A systems.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC electrical and control systems.
• Provide technical support to internal teams and partners.
• Maintain accurate documentation of service visits and repairs.
• Assist on power equipment installations and related activities.
• Submit expense reports per travel policies.
