Levi Ray and Shoup, Inc. is seeking an IT Business Analyst/Project Coordinator in St. Louis, MO, for a contract-to-hire opportunity. The role supports the IT PMO, translating business needs into clear process flows, documentation, and project artifacts.

Responsibilities include BRD creation, project charter support, status trackers, and coordination of PMO documentation in ServiceNow. Strong communication with business and technical stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a business analyst, project coordinator, or PMO support role.
• Experience creating process flow diagrams and workflow documentation using Visio or Lucidchart.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements for IT projects.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar PPM/ITSM tools a plus.
• CapM certification a plus.
• Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal).

Responsibilities

• Develop process flow diagrams and workflow documentation to support project planning and business process improvement efforts.
• Partner with Project Managers and business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate project requirements.
• Create and maintain supporting documentation, including process maps, requirements documents, and meeting notes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and support the design of updated workflows.
• Translate business requirements into clear, actionable documentation for project teams.
• Independently author BRDs during the Project Discovery phase.
• Assist Project Managers with the creation of Project Charters during Discovery.
• Assist Project Managers with maintaining status trackers, WBS/task schedules, and RAID logs within ServiceNow.
• Support weekly PMO status reporting by compiling updates and tracking submission compliance.
• Coordinate and schedule project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.
• Support the PCR process by preparing and tracking documentation.
• Provide general administrative support to the PMO as needed.
