Job summary

Abbott is seeking an experienced IT professional to serve as the primary IT partner for Quality and R&D, with additional support for Commercial. You will translate business needs into concrete requirements and roadmaps, while coordinating delivery with cross-functional teams and leadership.

Role requires 7+ years in IT or related fields, strong communication, and a solid grasp of regulatory compliance and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in IT, business relationship management, business systems, consulting, product management, or project delivery.
• Experience partnering with business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver technology solutions.
• Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional business and IT initiatives.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and problem solving skills.
• Understanding of application lifecycle management, cybersecurity, privacy, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.

• Communicate project status, risks, recommendations, and business value to leadership and stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Life Sciences, or related field; or equivalent experience.

• 7+ years of experience in IT, business relationship management, business systems, consulting, product management, or project delivery.
• Experience partnering with business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver technology solutions.
• Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional business and IT initiatives.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Understanding of application lifecycle management, cybersecurity, privacy, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Diagnostics, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or other regulated industries.
• Experience supporting Quality systems, compliance processes, or Quality Management functions.
• Experience supporting R&D, laboratory operations, product development, or scientific data environments.
• Experience supporting Commercial organizations and customer‑facing capabilities.
• Knowledge of enterprise applications, analytics, workflow, content management, and integration technologies.
