Lone Star College is seeking an Advanced Technology Specialist to troubleshoot and resolve audio/visual, PC, and server issues, coordinating vendor-led projects from start to finish. The role includes training, documentation, and delivering excellent customer service to users across campus.

Responsibilities include collaboration with OTS developers, maintaining knowledge of AV/PC systems, and contributing to budget management while aligning with the College’s mission and standards.

Formación

• Associate degree and minimum 4 years of related work experience.
• Experience directly working with clients, demonstrating strong communication skills.
• CompTIA A+ Certification or equivalent; Microsoft 365 Fundamentals.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and management of endpoints.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and resolve escalated issues in PC/Desktop and AV areas.
• Collaborate with developers to improve end-user experience.
• Manage budgets for materials aligned with mission objectives.
• Consult with customers to diagnose and implement solutions.
• Maintain SMEs on PC/Desktop/AV systems and document processes.
• Develop improvements to enhance team performance.
• Manage personal work tickets and departmental queue.
• Possibly manage intra-OTS projects.
