Job summary

Lone Star College System's North Harris campus is seeking a Client Technologies Technician III to support faculty, staff and students by defining PC Desktop and AV requirements and delivering reliable IT services. You will work with end users to identify needs, train users, and ensure standardization across platforms.

The role emphasizes Windows/Mac expertise, strong customer service, and the ability to collaborate with campus teams. Occasional travel to other LSC locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 4+ years of related IT support experience.
• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent required.
• MCP/MCSA certifications preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain PC, peripherals and in-house AV equipment; install, repair and upgrade hardware.
• Lead IT projects and provide high level technical service.
• Be the go-to person for PC Desktop, Mac and AV areas.
• Diagnose and resolve complex hardware/software issues for end users.
• Provide training and guidance to end users and team members.
• Develop SOPs and instructional videos.
• Improve user experience with OTS team members.
• Deploy lab computers and align changes with class needs.
• Monitor service queues to meet SLAs and respond promptly.
• Document technical specifications and best practices for staff.
