Job summary

Pacific Rim is seeking an IT Assistant to provide administrative and technical support across office and project sites in Guam. The role helps install, maintain, troubleshoot, and deploy technology resources to keep systems secure and available for employees.

The position collaborates with the IT Manager, manages equipment inventory, and assists with IT projects and onboarding/offboarding tasks while adhering to security policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Information Technology or Computer Science preferred.
• Previous experience in IT support or related role preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, mobile devices, and networking concepts.
• Valid Guam Driver's License preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain access credentials for project sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist the IT Manager with daily IT operations and support activities.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Provide first-level technical support to employees for hardware, software, email, and connectivity issues.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding by preparing equipment and accounts.
• Support setup of internet, wireless, and communication systems for offices and project sites.
• Maintain inventory records of equipment and licenses and coordinate equipment movement.
