Amentum is seeking a highly organized Asset Manager to oversee daily and long-term management of IT hardware, ensuring compliance with asset-management processes and procedures. The role focuses on lifecycle-tracking and accurate physical inventories to maintain quality control, collaborating with customers and internal teams.

Security clearance TS/SCI Poly is required. The position emphasizes meticulous record-keeping, inventory reporting, and coordination with the Corporate Property Management

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Experience with service desk applications like Jira or ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement asset-tracking processes from requisition to retirement.
• Maintain and audit the asset-management repository with accurate hardware identifiers.
• Work with customers to locate missing or unaccounted-for equipment.
• Create and manage an inventory schedule aligned with team goals.
• Perform physical inventories and document changes to asset records.
• Conduct quarterly and annual inventories per contract or customer request.
