Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee daily and long-term management of IT hardware, ensuring compliance with asset-management processes. The role emphasizes physical inventories and lifecycle-tracking practices, with close coordination with customers and the Corporate Property Management Team.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventories, processing reports, and coordinating with security and compliance teams.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Experience using service desk applications such as Jira or ServiceNow.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience asset-management and inventory processes.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement processes from requisition through retirement.
• Maintain asset-management repository with accurate, auditable data.
• Work with customers to locate missing equipment.
• Create and maintain an inventory schedule.
• Perform physical inventories and document changes to network, location, and accounts.
• Conduct quarterly and annual inventories per contract or customer request.
• Track stock levels and license renewals.
• Compile and submit inventory reports to Property Management.
• Process and submit MDATs, CAP Reports, PARs, and DD1149 forms.
