Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks a HAM/SAM IT Asset Management Analyst to strengthen procurement, asset, and license governance within its IT environment.

The role begins with manual hardware ordering and invoicing, then expands to HAM/SAM responsibilities as the ITAM model matures. You will collaborate with procurement, finance, and engineering, ensure CMDB/CSDM alignment, support audits, and help implement Coupa and ServiceNow ITAM modules while maintaining compliance with SOC

Qualifications

• Experience in IT operations, hardware ordering, vendor coordination, and invoice reconciliation.
• Understanding of procure-to-pay processes and vendor lifecycle management.
• 1-4+ years in IT Asset Management, HAM, SAM, or related functions.
• Experience with ServiceNow ITAM modules (HAM/SAM) or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to data quality.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, SOX 404, NIST 800-171, DFARS, FedRAMP).
• Entry-level analysts with 0–6 months of experience in ServiceNow ITAM/HAM/SAM may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate IT hardware, software, licenses, and renewals with vendors.
• Track purchase orders, lead times, shipments, and deliveries.
• Validate specifications against SPA's IT and cybersecurity standards.
• Process and match invoices to POs and contracts.
• Support HAM/SAM activities and migration to HAM/SAM capabilities.
• Maintain audit-ready asset records and CMDB/CSDM alignment.
• Produce IT governance reporting and KPIs.
