Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in software asset management
• 5+ years of ITAM experience with software asset management, SaaS administration, renewal coordination, entitlement tracking, procurement coordination, vendor coordination, or internal tech support

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve software asset management across the full lifecycle: intake, requests, approval, procurement support, assignment, entitlement tracking, renewal, reclamation, retirement, and compliance review
• Maintain accurate software asset records: licenses, entitlements, subscriptions, renewals, service agreements, contracts, vendors, ownership, usage data
• Track software ownership, usage, renewal status, contract terms, license type, and compliance status
• Analyze software asset data to identify unused licenses, renewal risks, data gaps, and opportunities for optimization
• Support software requests by validating entitlement availability, licensing requirements, and provisioning readiness
• Perform software license reconciliation, usage review, and audit evidence gathering; conduct SLA health checks
• Generate reports on software inventory, renewal status, compliance, vendor performance, and trends
• Identify software eligible for reclamation, renewal adjustment, or cost optimization
• Support HAM activities: hardware records, moves, shipping, inventory reviews, device recovery
• Collaborate with ITAM, Procurement, Finance, Security, Legal, and vendors to resolve software asset issues
