Job summary

Wood River Federal, LLC is seeking a Journeyman Computer Operator (IT Asset Management Specialist) to manage the complete lifecycle of IT assets. You will handle hardware and software records, deployment readiness, and disposal under supervision of IT leadership.

Responsibilities include maintaining ELMS/DPAS accuracy, supporting license compliance, audits, and generating lifecycle reports. A DoD clearance is required or obtainable, with prior ITAM experience and enterprise tool proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in IT support or operations.
• At least 2 years in IT Asset Management, inventory control, or IT logistics.
• Certifications: CAMP and ITIL Foundation preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Proficiency with ITAM/ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Flexera, Ivanti).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with barcode scanners and inventory tools.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inventory, and track IT assets through deployment and disposition.
• Maintain asset records in ELMS/DPAS or CMDB with accuracy.
• Support software license tracking and compliance audits.
• Generate reports on asset status and lifecycle metrics.
• Coordinate secure disposal of retired assets per policy.
