Job summary

Computer World Services, Corp. seeks a Journeyman Asset Manager to oversee IT asset lifecycle management for the USMEPCOM ENLIST program, ensuring GFP and other assets are tracked accurately and in compliance with DoD requirements.

You will support Hand Receipt Holders and the PBO, coordinate inventories, reconcile discrepancies, and prepare disposition packages while maintaining thorough records and audit-ready reports. Remote position with occasional travel to site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant IT asset management or property-management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT assets through acquisition, receipt, deployment, maintenance, transfer and disposition.
• Support Hand Receipt Holders and coordinate with USMEPCOM PBO on property records, accountability, inventory, transfers, discrepancies and disposition.
• Maintain asset records with identifiers, serials, models, custodians, locations, status, condition, warranties and lifecycle dates.
• Reconcile asset records with related records and resolve missing or discrepant data.
• Plan and conduct physical inventories and audits, validating asset existence and condition.
• Prepare Asset Audit Reports detailing scope, methods, results, discrepancies and recommendations.
• Maintain warranties, licenses and support contracts; coordinate renewals as needed.
• Prepare disposition packages per PBO guidance, documenting approvals and sanitization evidence.
• Maintain chain-of-custody and transfer documentation after installations, moves, or disposals.
• Develop asset metrics and Monthly Status Report inputs; update SOPs and reporting tools.
• Integrate asset management with configuration, change, procurement, finance and cybersecurity processes.
