Northramp LLC is seeking a Jr. IT Software Asset Management Consultant to support government hardware lifecycle management and help maintain operational excellence in a federal environment. The role emphasizes strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional and federal stakeholders.

The position requires hands-on participation in asset lifecycle activities, CMDB accuracy, and on-site support in Rockville, MD, with preferred ITIL/IAITAM certifications and a bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years hardware-focused IT Asset Management experience.
• Experience with CMDB and asset management tools such as ServiceNow.
• Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and documentation quality.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain eligibility for access to classified information.
• Daily on-site support in Rockville, MD is required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full hardware asset lifecycle, including receiving, tagging, shipping, recovery, and disposal.
• Maintain accurate asset records and support both physical and logistical inventory audits.
• Process request-fulfillment tickets in alignment with SLAs and customer expectations.
• Participate as a member of an IT Asset Management Team, including government and vendor partners.
• Update process documentation.
• Coordinate effectively with multiple vendor partners to ensure alignment and shared understanding.
