Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years related experience.
• SAP experience required.
• Prior performance as System, Network Administrator, or ISSO is common.
• Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s degree in a related area + 2 years’ experience OR equivalent experience (4 years)

Responsibilities

• Assist the ISSM in duties and responsibilities.
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages.
• Ensure procedures for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying hardware and media are in place.
• Notify ISSM of changes that might affect authorization determination.
• Conduct periodic reviews of information systems for compliance with the security authorization package.
• Coordinate changes to hardware, software, or firmware with ISSM and AO/DAO before changes.
• Monitor system recovery to ensure security features are restored.
• Ensure security documentation is current and accessible to authorized personnel.
• Ensure audit records are collected, reviewed, and documented (incl. anomalies).
• Attend required technical and security training for duties.
• Execute the cyber security portion of self-inspection and security coordination.
• Identify cyber security vulnerabilities and assist with countermeasures.
• Prepare reports on security safeguards status.
• Perform ISSO duties in support of in-house and external customers.
• Conduct security impact analysis for changes to authorization boundaries.
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
