Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks an ISSO to maintain the secure posture of an information system, collaborating with the ISSM and ISO, and to manage RMF packages in support of DoD agencies, including SAP environments.

The role covers day-to-day security operations, documentation management, and security training, with TS/SCI and CI polygraph requirements. On-site work in a DoD context in San Antonio, TX is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years related experience in information security or DoD environments.
• Experience developing RMF packages or body of evidence.
• SAP experience required and prior ISSO-related work.

Responsibilities

• Assist the ISSM in duties and responsibilities.
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages.
• Ensure procedures for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying hardware and media are in place.
• Notify ISSM of changes affecting authorization determinations.
• Conduct periodic reviews for compliance with the security authorization package.
• Coordinate hardware/software/firmware changes with ISSM and AO/DAO.
• Monitor recovery processes to ensure security features function properly.
• Ensure security documentation is current and accessible.
• Audit records are collected, reviewed, and documented.
• Attend required security and technical training.
• Execute cybersecurity portions of self-inspections and reviews.
• Identify vulnerabilities and assist with countermeasures.
• Prepare status reports on security safeguards.
• Perform ISSO duties for internal and external customers.
• Conduct security impact analyses on configuration changes.
