Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks an IS Security Officer (ISSO) III in Bedford, MA, to maintain the security posture of an information system. You will collaborate with the ISSM and ISO to manage security operations, including authorization documentation, monitoring, and incident handling.

The role focuses on DoD SAPs with SCI and requires TS/SCI with CI Polygraph, 5+ years of related work, and 2+ SAP years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent with two years’ related experience, or four years of equivalent work.
• Experience developing RMF packages or bodies of evidence.
• 2+ years SAP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the ISSM in duties and responsibilities.
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages.
• Ensure procedures for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying hardware/media are in place.
• Notify ISSM of changes affecting authorization determinations.
• Conduct periodic reviews for security compliance and monitoring.
• Coordinate changes with ISSM/AO/DAO prior to changes.
• Monitor recovery processes to ensure security features are restored.
• Maintain current security documentation accessible to authorized personnel.
• Collect and document audit records and anomalies.
