Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an Information Security Officer (ISSO) to manage security posture for DoD information systems, including RMF packages, SAPs, and exception management. The position requires 2+ years of related security experience, SAP experience, and TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years related experience in information security.
• SAP experience is required.
• Experience developing RMF packages or body of evidence.
• TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Assist the ISSM in meeting duties and responsibilities.
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages.
• Ensure procedures for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying hardware and media.
• Notify ISSM of changes affecting authorization.
• Conduct periodic reviews for compliance with the security package.
• Coordinate changes to hardware/software with ISSM and AO/DAO.
• Monitor system recovery to ensure security features function.
• Maintain current security documentation accessible to authorized personnel.
• Ensure audit records are collected, reviewed, and documented.
• Attend required security training related to duties.
• Execute cyber security portion of self-inspection and coordinate system assessments.
• Identify cyber security vulnerabilities and help implement countermeasures.
• Prepare status reports on security safeguards.
• Perform ISSO duties in support of customers.
• Conduct security impact analysis for configuration changes.
