Job summary

Interface Systems is seeking a Level 3 iSOC Coordinator to manage real-time security events, including alarm verification, video monitoring, and live two-way audio interactions with monitored sites. You will de-escalate incidents, coordinate with emergency services, and document actions for continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes rapid decision-making, clear communication with customers, and maintaining security operations in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

Two years of customer service, dispatch or security experience preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to stay calm under pressure.
Experience with security monitoring tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform remote security checks/virtual tours of customer locations, observing for vulnerabilities and unusual activities.
Conduct virtual security escorts to safeguard customers during business openings/closures or on request.
Communicate with customer locations using two-way audio/video surveillance technology.
Take action based on severity, including contacting customers or emergency services as needed.
Answer inbound calls to resolve or escalate security and system-related inquiries.
Maintain accurate records in the automation system and documentation.
Monitor, verify and respond to alarm signals and verify their validity.
Provide life safety support by dispatching to emergency personnel when needed.
Intervene in real-time incidents using two-way audio to project authority and calm.
De-escalate situations like loitering or trespassing when required.
Generate detailed incident reports and ensure proper follow-up.
