Jobot Consulting seeks an AP Specialist for a contract-hire, on-site in Irvine, CA. You will manage full-cycle accounts payable, ensuring accurate processing of invoices, staff reimbursements, and adherence to Finance policies.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, strong Excel and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Salary: $25–$27 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full cycle of accounts payable activities including receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, purchase orders, expense reports, credit memos, and payment transactions.
• Maintain vendor relationships and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Prepare, review, and analyze accounts payable reports and summaries.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, ethical practices, and adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
• Assist with month-end closing processes and financial audits.
• Identify and implement opportunities to optimize systems and processes.
• Provide support and guidance to junior staff, if any.
