Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Columbus, GA seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead Integrated Product Teams and drive cross-functional program execution for mature engine components. You will manage scope, cost, and schedule while coordinating with CIPTs, ESTO, quality, and manufacturing engineering.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, detailed project management, and effective communication with program leadership to deliver on-time, within budget engineering changes and improvements for aircraft

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience coordinating engineering projects and cross-functional teams.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), aligning cross-functional resources to meet technical requirements, project objectives, and established deliverables.
• Plan, track, and report project progress, budgets, schedules, and hardware/task execution to ensure targets are achieved.
• Identify project issues, develop resolution strategies, and facilitate execution across functional organizations to maintain project objectives and timelines.
• Evaluate product improvement opportunities and initiate Class 2 engineering changes, coordinating evaluation and disposition of quality nonconformances.
