Job summary

RTX’s ESTO division in Columbus, GA is hiring a Senior Project Engineer to lead cross‑functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) for mature engine components. The role focuses on project management, cost/schedule control, and coordination with CIPTs, quality, and manufacturing engineering to ensure on‑time delivery.

You will drive technical content, risk assessments, and leadership communication to ESTO and program leadership, while advancing engineering changes and resolving nonconformances as

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), aligning cross-functional resources to meet technical requirements, project objectives, and established deliverables.
• Plan, track, and report project progress, budgets, schedules, and hardware/task execution to ensure established targets are achieved.
• Identify project issues, develop resolution strategies, and facilitate execution across functional organizations to maintain project objectives and timelines.
• Evaluate product improvement opportunities and initiate Class 2 engineering changes, while coordinating the evaluation and disposition of quality nonconformances and supplier requests for information.
• Prepare and present project status, technical content, risks, and recommendations to ESTO leadership, CIPTs, and Pratt & Whitney management.
