Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Corporate Counsel, IP Enforcement, to lead enforcement for the Americas from our San Mateo hybrid office. You will collaborate with PlayStation Studios and security teams to address piracy, leaks, and unauthorized modifications across the game lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have 6–12 years of IP enforcement experience, strong DMCA knowledge, and a pragmatic, cross‑functional approach to enforcement across regions and platforms.

Qualifications

• 6–12 years of post-qualified experience in IP enforcement, in-house or private practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead legal counsel for SIE’s Game Protection Program in the Americas, addressing piracy and pre-release content protection.
• Advise PlayStation Studios and release teams to identify content‑protection risks across development and release lifecycles.
• Provide DMCA notice/takedown guidance, counternotices, safe harbors, fair use, and related enforcement advice.
