Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel, Intellectual Property Litigation to defend PlayStation IP and lead high‑stakes matters. You will collaborate with our Global Legal Team, work with outside counsel, and mentor junior attorneys.

This hybrid role in San Mateo involves strategic IP risk assessment, policy development, and cross‑regional work on patents, trademarks, and copyrights. A strong U.S. IP litigation background and California bar status are preferred.

Qualifications

• 12 years of IP litigation experience in federal and state courts, including 4 years at a law firm.
• Experience litigating complex patent litigation matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage cutting-edge IP litigation strategy with outside counsel.
• Respond to subpoenas and information requests.
• Advise leadership on dispute resolution and legal risk mitigation.
• Develop policies, procedures, and playbooks for IP matters.
• Collaborate with regional teams on international disputes and risk assessments.
• Mentor attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
