Haynes and Boone, LLP is seeking an IP Docketing Specialist to support our Intellectual Property group. The role focuses on U.S. and foreign patent and trademark docketing, ensuring timely updates and accuracy in the docketing database.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of IP docketing experience, proficiency with docketing software (PATTSY a plus), and strong data accuracy skills. Solid MS Office skills are required for daily tasks and reporting.

Qualificações

• Minimum two years of experience with Intellectual Property deadline docketing.
• Experience with US and foreign patents; trademark docketing a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Review incoming correspondence to determine deadlines for docketing or undocketing.
• Process and forward docket information to appropriate individuals.
• Create and annotate records in the docketing database, ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain current deadlines per correspondence and country requirements.
• Verify status of patent and trademark cases using USPTO and foreign PTOs.
• Docket internal docket slips and prepare reports for attorneys and staff.
• Assist attorneys and paralegals with US and foreign prosecution deadline verifications.
