Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Paralegal studies or training is beneficial.
• Minimum eight (8) years IP experience in docketing quality control.
• Experience with docket software applications.
• Experience with domestic/foreign patent matters.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate, timely quality control reviews of US and Non-US patent docketing entries.
• Assist in creating and implementing new training materials.
• Support development and implementation of new docketing policies and procedures.
• Manage incoming data quality from transfer-in portfolios for lawyers and teams.
• Provide back-up to Docketing Specialists to maintain SOPs.
• Address docket-related inquiries for IP attorneys and staff.
• Ensure docket database accuracy and generate reports as needed.
• Collaborate with Docketing Specialists to meet IP department goals.
• Maintain confidentiality of docketing information with attorneys and clients.
• Ensure accuracy/completeness of docketing documents received from USPTO and other agencies.
• Provide detailed client information and deadlines to IP attorneys/staff.
