Troutman Pepper Locke LLP in San Diego, CA seeks an IP Docket Specialist to ensure accurate US and non-US docketing, maintain deadlines, and support the IP Docket Manager with training and processes.

You will manage portfolios per firm policies, communicate with attorneys and staff, generate reports, and help uphold confidentiality while delivering high-quality docketing services. This role requires a strong knowledge of patent law, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/experience.
• Minimum eight years of progressive Intellectual Property docketing experience.
• Experience with docket software applications.
• Strong understanding of domestic/foreign patent matters.

Mansioni

• Quality control of US and non-US patent docketing entries.
• Assist in creating and implementing new training materials.
• Develop and refine docketing policies and procedures.
• Manage incoming data quality from transferring portfolios.
• Provide back-up for Docketing Specialists and maintain SOPs.
• Answer docket-related inquiries for IP attorneys and staff.
• Ensure docket database accuracy and generate reports.
• Collaborate with Docketing Specialists to meet firm goals.
• Maintain confidentiality of the Docket Department and clients.
• Ensure accuracy of docketing documents from USPTO and others.
