Job summary
T-Mobile is seeking an IoT Solutions Sales Engineer to design and present connected vehicle, fleet, and telematics solutions for automotive, logistics, and ecommerce customers. You will consult with sales and customers to tailor cloud-based IoT offerings and support pilots and POCs.
The role requires maintaining specialist knowledge of IoT and cloud solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to customer satisfaction through expert guidance and solution design.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of related work experience.
- 7-10 years in telecom, IT admin or network engineering with solution sales experience.
Responsibilities
- Engage in customer meetings to understand business needs and identify solution opportunities.
- Consult with sales teams to develop cloud-based and IoT solutions meeting requirements.
- Maintain certifications and up-to-date technical expertise.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering on IoT offerings.
- Lead discovery, proofs of concept, and pilots for connected vehicle use cases.
