Job summary

T-Mobile seeks an experienced IoT Solutions Architect to support business sales by designing and presenting cloud-based IoT solutions for automotive, logistics, and ecommerce. You will consult with sales teams, develop tailored offerings, and provide technical support during engagements, focusing on connected vehicles and telematics.

You will maintain expertise in IoT platforms, edge computing, and network technologies to drive informed sales strategies and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Experience with IoT solutions (connectivity, telematics, edge-to-cloud platforms) in relevant industries.
Strong knowledge of RF RAT types and 4G/5G infrastructure elements.
Ability to translate complex customer needs into functional and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

Engage in customer meetings to understand business needs and identify solution opportunities, driving sales support activities for IoT deployments.
Consult with sales teams and customers to develop and recommend cloud-based and IoT value-added solutions meeting business requirements.
Maintain specialist knowledge and certifications in relevant technologies to ensure up-to-date technical expertise.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide feedback on IoT offerings and support special projects.
Serve as a trusted IoT advisor to automotive OEMs, logistics, and ecommerce operators.
Lead technical discovery, proofs of concept, and pilots for connected vehicle and telematics use cases.
Other duties as assigned by business management.
